    • Veracruz all natural - BEST breakfast taco in Austin - worth the walk!!!

    • Walton's Fancy and Staple - Sandra Bullock's own general store with coffee, breakfast, bakery and deli offereings

    • Bouldin Creek Cafe - vegan and veggie options
    • Blenders & Bowls - fresh pressed juice and acai
    • Whole Foods - flagship store - full of cafe's and juice bars!


Rainey Street - Food & Brews

This charming historic area is literally right outside your hotel room door and will provide you with a truly authetic Austin experience. Go for a stroll and grab a bite at a food truck or kick back in a beer garden bar while listening to the sound of live music floating through the air.

  • Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden - need I say more! over 100 beers/ciders on tap and house made very unique sausage. They are totally dog friendly and have live music on Thursday and Saturdays
  • Half Step - If you need to a serious cocktail, this is your spot. With white lights and picnic benches you can relax and sip on your mint julep.
  • Craft Pride - If you want to try local beer (only Texas breweries) then stop by and grab some pizza at their food truck and enjoy the day!
  • The Clive Bar - super chill watering hole - Texas brews & cocktails
  • Rainey Food Truck Park - lots of different options to grab a bite - lobster rolls, tacos, waffles...take a look!

Austin for Foodies

  • Micklethwaite Craft Meats - award winning barbecue (just ask Michelle Obama) - 1309 Rosewood Avenue
  • Franklin's Barbecue - If you dare....the line starts early and they sell out fast, but they are an iconic! 900 East 11th Street
  • Noble Sandwich Company - try the famous smoked duck pastrami - out of this world! - 4805 Burnet Road
